    What Equipment Do You Need?

Your paranormal investigation needs vary based on your goal. Want to prove the paranormal exists without doubt? Then you need expensive gear. Aiming only to contact a spirit and record success? Your wallet doesn't need much. You need some gear.:

Flashlight: You will be out at night regardless of your goal. You must have a flashlight. This tool prevents you from falling or twisting an ankle; it does not catch ghosts.

Extra Batteries: Paranormal entities drain batteries quickly. Bring extra batteries for all devices. Invest in rechargeable batteries if you plan to hunt often. Reducing your carbon footprint while proving the paranormal exists is fine.

A Notebook: Use this to keep a real-time journal of your experiences. You can also use it for automatic writing.

A Jacket With Pockets: You might get cold unexpectedly. You probably want pockets to carry all your ghost hunting gear.

Cameras: If possible, bring a DSLR, a film camera, and a Polaroid. More proof means better results.

EMF Meter: EMF Meters detect electromagnetic fields. They show if an entity is draining your energy to bleed into your dimension.

Digital Thermometer: A theory suggests spirits create cold spots. Use this device to check if you feel a cold spot or if you just have poor circulation.

Field Recorder: Affordable portable audio recorders exist. TheZoom H4nworks well and is cheap. You need something to record entity answers if you ask many questions. Do not spend money to record EVPs.Record EVPs. (electronic voice phenomenon) you can download a phone app. These apps drain battery life. You might need your phone if trouble strikes.

Watch tutorials on tech items before hunting. Test things out. If an item doesn't fit your investigation, do not buy it. Seriously, you must have a flashlight when moving in the dark.

Choose what feels right for you.Ghost huntingGhost hunting means you visit a place with no known paranormal signs and look for ghosts. You might hold a séance in an abandoned church or take pictures in a cemetery. Investigation means you research paranormal activity at a specific spot or help someone contact a ghost to fix a problem.

    Case The Joint

Do not enter a location you investigate blindly.Do research.Research the days and weeks before your ghost hunt. Know anything creepy that happened at the location's past or any history of paranormal activity. Check the place during the day to see if the space looks odd or if it is structurally weak. Do not step into an abandoned building and fall through the floor.

    Befriend Someone With Psychic Abilities

Whether hunting or investigating, involve someone with psychic ability. This person has a touch of the psychic. They can help you with the spirit. Your friend does not need to be telekinetic. If they sense moods and feelings, they might help you talk to a presence. No ghost technology beats having someone act as a go-between for you and the immaterial. Let this person handle talking to a ghost during a séance, Ouija session, or any automatic drawing.

    How Do You Protect Yourself?

Prepare for spiritual warfare during any ghost adventure. Keep yourself from getting wrecked by a ghost by starting with a positive attitude. Bringing negative energy to the hunt guarantees a negative return. If you are in a good moodThat energy fills the space, reducing the chance of something bad happening. Besides a good attitude, say a blessing before entering. Even if you are not religious, putting yourself in a state where good things watch over you helps. For dealing with spirits, Wiccan blessings work best.

What Types Of Ghosts Might You Find?

Hitchhikers vanishing suddenly or entities walking in endless loops show residual haunting. Paranormal scientists do not know what causes these hauntings, but they confirm they are not dangerous, just spooky.

Prepare A Series Of Questions For The Entity

You reach the haunted spot. Cold spots exist everywhere. Your camera captures orbs, perhaps a full torso apparition. Now, ask the spirit questions. Do not ask things off the dome; you will freeze. Even masters of improv cannot handle speaking with paranormal proof. Prep before you even leave.Speak to the dead.If you meet an entity, ask its name, what it wants, and if it is alone. Do not provoke the spirit. At best, it will stop, and the investigation ends. At worst, you face demonic possession. Remain polite and respectful always; you will be fine.
