Since 2011, Impractical Jokers has become the millennial answer to Candid Camera, amassing a cult following. Despite their what-you-see-is-what-you-get persona, surprising secrets lurk behind the scenes. Joseph 'Joe' Gatto, James 'Murr' Murray, Brian 'Q' Quinn, and Salvatore 'Sal' Vulcano met in high school in Staten Island, NY, and perfected their act over the years as a true ensemble. Q told Complex, 'It's the four of us, and we've been friends so long. None of us are really singled out as the star of the show. Nobody's in anybody's shadow.' This camaraderie is just one secret to their success.

"We got good at pranking," Murr said.
