I am actually learning to accept compliments.
I learned this by viewing compliments the same way I viewed criticism. Then I saw people rarely give compliments to feel better. People give criticism because they see themselves as better than others, not because they are judging. But when they say you are good at something, they mean it.
This helped me give myself more credit. Compliments show I am improving.
