About this list

Praise be to Arceus: Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! have arrived on the Nintendo Switch. These games bring major changes to the series, now over two decades old. Set in the Kanto region, they feature the first generation of Pokémon. Players can also integrate with Pokémon Go and trade in-game to expand their Pokédex beyond the original 150. While not a direct remake of Pokémon: Yellow, like 2004's FireRed and LeafGreen, Let's Go offers new fans a great starting point and a nostalgic trip for older fans. With a wealth of Poké-lore, Game Freak included Easter eggs and references to pop and internet culture. The new games are a fun trip through Kanto, showing the series will continue to thrill fans and evolve.

One of the best cameos from the Poké franchise is the appearance of Blue.Pokémonfranchise is the appearance ofBlue, the famed rival of original Kanto Champ Red and the inspiration for Gary Oak in the anime series. Blue shows up to give you tidbits on Team Rocket's goings-on. Once Giovanni leaves the Viridian City Gym Leader job, he tells you he plans to take over and redecorate. This sets up where Blue ends up in theGold/Silver/Crystalgames, which followed the originals directly.
