From Redditor/u/MachJT
Order a McDouble for a cheaper Big Mac. Swap the ketchup and mustard for mac sauce. Add lettuce. Skip the middle bun and sesame seeds. You save some money.

If you like fresh french fries, ask for them without salt. Then, get a packet of salt from them after you have cooked fries.
13 - 3Triple Cheese PleaseFood Drink
From Redditor /u/stressyandagressy
The triple cheeseburger beats the McChicken on the menu. Both beat the fries and nuggets. I pay $3 there. The triple cheese puts cheese on every patty, making it very cheesy. The quarter pounder is not built that way.

My late-night craving made me think about adding Big Mac sauce to a double cheeseburger. I did not know if this was possible. I sent my husband to find out. You can add it!
10 - 5Grilled Cheese, Yes Please!Food Drink
From Redditor /u/pineapplekittens
I get 'grilled cheeses,' which are cheeseburgers without the patty.

If they offer a holiday drink, like 'peppermint mocha,' get it as an iced coffee flavor. It tastes much better.

It is not a 'hack.' My friends and I used to eat a McDank. It is a McChicken inside a double cheeseburger.

Get a McBacon roll and a hash brown. Slip a baby into the roll for tasty food.
Also get half chocolate and half strawberry thick shakes.

Any of those places replace the bun with lettuce if you ask for a lettuce wrap. I did this at Five Guys. Get a double quarter pounder lettuce wrap and eat the patty.

If you live in the Washington DC area and have the McDonald's app, you might get free fries sometimes with a drink purchase. The Washington Capitals hockey team offers free fries the next day if they win after the first period.

The app lets you heavily customize sandwiches. I order two double quarter pounders. I remove everything and add an extra patty and extra salt. I add cheese and sometimes mustard if I feel like it.
