Thanos feared Odin despite his power. Thanos did not start his endgame until Odin died.

From Redditoru/R151N6T1D3:

The Chitauri held the Mind Stone first. They were one of Thanos' initial conquests.

The Chitauri found the Mind Stone long ago. They used it to create a hive mind. Iron Man destroyed the mothership, and all the Chitauri went limp.AvengersThanos put the Mind Stone in the scepter for the Chitauri ruler. Thanos took the scepter, making the Chitauri his army.

The Collector is alive. Thanos refused to kill the last member of a race.

From Redditoru/AssassinsHome4:

Pepper said during Tony's death, "We'll be alright.... you can rest now." I always headcanon this was the MCU's goodbye to Tony Stark. He carried the whole thing from start to finish. Now, he can finally rest, and the MCU is safe without him.

Thinking that way makes it 3000X more emotional for me.

From Redditoru/Southern_Blue:

Bucky's final mission to kill Steve was his last one. Pierce told them they needed him to do it "one last time." Hydra was supposed to win and wouldn't need him. Steve saved his life by accident.

Steve received back pay from the US Military and did not rely on Tony.

From Redditoru/nicks1205:

My headcanon is that this technology from The Winter SoldierThe Winter Soldieris derivative from Fury's run-in with the Skrulls.

From Redditoru/FrameworkisDigimon:

Bor and Odin tried to remove the Infinity Stones from the universe. They hid them instead, fearing destruction. They exterminated the aliens holding them and set a trap on Vormir. Bor died or turned to snow by a time-traveling Loki, like in the comics. Odin continued this with Hela until the mission succeeded. Hela then went mad, returning to canon.

From Redditoru/Eryk0201:

Thanos knew the Mind Stone was sentient. He gave it to Loki deliberately. This was a backup in case he lost it to an intelligent race that could beat him. The stone's "being" could become their next, bigger foe. Thanos smiles in the Avengers because he knew humans would unleash it eventually.

When Ultron appeared, we saw his memories from the stone's view. This confirms the stone is sentient.

From Redditoru/servantofthespear:

The Hulk aged in maturity based on how long he was in the driver's seat. This explains his toddler-like behavior.RagnarokProfessor Hulk shows childlike excitement, despite his intense fear of Thanos and refusal to resurface.Endgame.

From Redditoru/randomnighmare:

Ego thinks he is a Celestial. His ego fuels this; Celestials are legendary, ancient, extinct beings known to non-Earthlings. He is the only one of his kind, so he assumes he must be one. He is very old, very powerful; no one matches him in the universe.

From Redditoru/HerewardTheWoke:

The dwarves gave Odin a fake Gauntlet as revenge for Odin and Hela's violent conquest of Nidavellir.

From Redditoru/ip52:

After the snap, the pure white screen was not just for show. The entire universe went completely white for moments. This idea is terrifying. Imagining the chaos before half the population vanishes into dust is unsettling.

From Redditoru/boldenspeaking:

The original Ultron program originated as an old S.H.I.E.L.D project started by Hank Pym.

From Redditoru/representDLV:

Thanos knew the Soul Stone was on Vormir and knew the cost. The challenge became making Gamora go to Vormir with him. He had to let her go somewhat willingly so she would not fight hard or risk death or self-harm.

Thanos needed her to get the stone, making her the sacrificial price. He revealed this at the last minute. His surprise was an act; his tears showed he finally had to complete the sacrifice he had known he would make.

From Redditoru/frankwalsingham:

Jane Foster has cancer. Thor broke up with her so he would not watch her die.

From Redditoru/AmierSingle:

Hela took out Odin's eye during their final battle on Niflheim before he imprisoned her inRagnarok. Odin used the Jotunheim invasion on Earth in the firstThor flashback as a false reason for what happened to his eye, covering up the truth.

From Redditoru/HerewardTheWoke:

The Infinity Stones form a feedback loop. Wanda got her powers from the Reality Stone, causing her illusions. Quicksilver got his from the Space Stone, causing his red and blue colors.
