Medieval people knew how to have a good time, with feasting, storytelling, games, and puzzling riddles. The Exeter Book records some of the clever and witty riddles from the Middle Ages. These riddles are tough, full of double meanings, and often left us stumped - we needed the answers more than we'd like to admit.
