The Post: The original Reddit post has since been archived, a husband tells the story of how he caught his wife cheating with their neighbor. After months of suspicious behavior, he installed software on her phone to see her texts. This showed her texting the neighbor, confirming the affair. He confronted them; she denied everything. The post also said:

I tell her I am leaving her; she threatens to keep me from seeing my kids if I leave.

The husband posted on r/Relationship_Advice asking for advice on the situation.

The Response: Many comments told him to hire a lawyer. A follow-up post confirmed the husband would hire an attorney for a divorce, which many commenters liked. This story took a terrible turn after his next post where he thanked people for advice but then posted a news article showing his two children were murdered by his wife. The article came from WRTV Indiana, 30-year-old Brandi Worley stabbed her two children and herself, then called the police confessing to the act.

The Post: In the original post, user babyblues17babyblues17 said she was almost nine months pregnant with her first child and was happily married to her husband. Both had stable jobs and a good home for a child. However, someone told Indiana's Department of Child Services (DCS) about the husband's criminal history. He faced a Class D felony charge for weed possession in college. A DCS woman visited, checked the house, and drug-tested them. The DCS woman warned them the baby might be taken after birth.

The Response: One early comment came from someone claiming to be a former DCS worker. They stated:

CPS does not investigate pregnant women without current children. Something is wrong.

After this raised alarms, OP made a follow-up post, claiming they worked with a lawyer. The shocking update revealed the DCS woman had no link to DCS. This suggests a large trick to take the woman's baby once born.

The Post:User flaxenflaredescribed on r/Let'sNotMeet a scary event one night after being home alone and letting their dog out. In the post, they mention the dog scratched at the door when they wanted to go in, but usually stayed out for a few minutes after using the bathroom. On that night, the scratching to enter happened right after the dog went out. It turns out, it was not their dog, but someone pretending to be it to open the door. The post read:

I check if my dog is by the door out of habit. Instead, I see a man staring hard at the door handle.

The Response: Many responses said how weird this situation was. One response made it sound even worse:

Knowing your dog signals to be let in means he watched the house for a while to see a pattern. I wouldn't be shocked if he knew you were home alone then.

The user and his husband moved away. Police never caught the man at the door.

The Post:Reddit userJellyBelly250Says he watched a movie with his family one night. His mom gave him juice then everything went blurry. He woke up the next morning with a disturbing surprise:

I woke up with a sore arm. I didn't think anything of it until it started hurting. I looked down and could not believe my eyes. Her NAME is tattooed all over my arm!

The user's mom, a tattoo artist, showed no regret. She claimed her son should be thankful for what he has now.

The Response: This mom's actions are illegal in many ways. Many commenters said he should call the police right away for tests to find drugs in his system as proof. The OP shared an update in anotherpost, saying he called the police and CPS. The mother still does not see what she did as wrong and uses a lawyer to keep the cops away. He says he is staying at a neighbor's house with his brother but never updated anyone after that.

The Post: A woman tells an extremely upsettingstoryabout losing her child. One daughter developed skin rashes as a baby, later found to be a coconut allergy. This made sense because the author explains coconut oil is used often in her culture, for religious ceremonies and braiding hair. Sadly, the child's grandmother did not take the coconut allergy seriously. She made comments about how coconut oil would help the child's rough hair. One night while watching her grandkids, the grandmother used coconut oil to braid the hair against the mom's wishes. When the child reacted, the grandmother gave her Benadryl but left the coconut oil in her hair during bed. This caused the little girl to die in the middle of the night from an allergic reaction.

The grandmother tried to make up with the OP, but the OP told her, “You can come see me when you bring my daughter with you.”

The Response:Many comments could not believe the grandmother's actions. Many offered condolences and stressed that readers must take their kids' allergies and sensitivities seriously. Another commenter also could not believe the grandmother did not call the parents after giving them Benadryl:

The Post:A woman under the user namesmolbean197came tor/relationship_adviceShe asked what to do after finding her boyfriend secretly dug up slugs from their garden, blended them into food, and put them in it. This explained why she felt sick eating his food, but she blamed lack of sleep or hormones. She wrote inthe postShe confronted him, and he dismissed it as a joke:

I asked him why he was doing it and he accused me of snooping through his messages (which I would never do) and got so angry at me for ‘not being able to take a joke.',

She asked Reddit if her anger about this was an overreaction.

The Response:Sane people said comments told her she was not overreacting. She had every right to be mad and should leave him. Things got worse in afollow-upThe OP admitted the boyfriend used slugs. He also confessed to other awful acts: spitting in her toast, swapping her beta blockers for salt capsules, wiping her toothbrush on the toilet, changing her vegetarian sausage for real meat, and blending her dead pet snail into her food. All this made her very sick, causing high metaldehyde levels in her blood and stomach ulcers. The OP claimed the boyfriend had antisocial personality disorder, and she acted normal to the outside world for him:

He first tested her emotionally by cheating to see her reaction. She forgave him then started with food and other things to see how long it took for her to get sick.

In the final post, the OP said she is active and doing well.

The Post:In thispost, usermyhraShe went outside for mail, then returned to her room holding the mail and checking her phone. After placing her phone near her bed, she bent down to grab it and saw a man under the bed with his back turned:

He did not see her. Trying to stay calm while thoughts raced, she picked up the phone and said, "Sorry I dropped my phone. I'm just going to shower and call you back."

The woman then went to her bathroom, slipped out the window, and called the police and her boyfriend.

The Response:Police arrived at her apartment with a thin, tired-looking man. The police stated they found him waiting outside her bathroom with a knife. Comments reacted as expected, discussing how terrifying this situation would be. Many also said this is why they avoid spaces under their beds or prefer them cluttered. One user wrote:

And my mum acted likeIShe preferred a bed with no space under it back then. She would buy me a new boxspring if I also got a bedframe.

The Post: A man using the username RBradbury1920 detailsMysterious post-it notes appeared on his desk. He did not remember putting them there. The notes contained errands only he knew about. This happened all month. He installed webcams and motion detectors to check for break-ins.

I checked the webcam folder on my computer. I found nothing from the night before. My computer's recycling bin had been emptied. I did not empty it recently. Someone must have seen the webcam and deleted the files.

The Response: One main response came from user KakkerlakSomething brought up might have saved this man's life:

You said you have a narrow bedroom with no windows. Are you not getting enough airflow while sleeping? Is there a carbon monoxide leak in the building?

The OP said he has a CO detector but never set it up. Someone followed up with this.another postWhen he installed his CO detector, it read 100ppm. This meant carbon monoxide was poisoning the man. This explained why he forgot about the post-it notes.

The Post: A woman under the username Redwantsblue80She had trouble sleeping. She installed the Sleep As Android app. This app tracks sleep cycles and records you while you sleep. In this post, she linked to the recording, and listening to it, she made a scary discovery. The recording has her saying, “What are you doing?” Seconds later, a man’s voice says something back, sounding like, “Nothing.” The OP wonders if the man's voice is just her voice in her sleep.

The Response: Comments felt confused and scared by the recording. Some suggested improving her security system. The OP later said she did that in a later post. This story spread on Reddit, landing on the r/Creepy subreddit.r/Creepy. People posted trying to find out who or where that man's voice came from. The OP later posted a follow-up. She worked with another user, findebaran, by sending more recordings of her voice and her child's in the same room. This user posted their examination of the recording, concluding the voice was not hers based on her “overtones” or “harmonic partials.” In the OP's final post, she said they moved out and stopped giving updates.

The Post:In the popular r/AmA subreddit, user IncrediblyShinyArtHe talked about cooking and eating his foot. Then, he offered answers to questions. He had a motorcycle accident that amputated his foot. Two years later, he got the foot back from the doctors. Friends helped them cook the tibialis anterior part and made tacos with the meat, even sharing photos.

The Response:People want to know how it tastes first. The original poster answered this question:

I'd rate it a solid 6.5. Keep in mind I eat a lot of good food. It beats a hot dog or a regular burger. Maybe equal to regular bacon; that's pretty decent.

The Post: In June 1988, 9-year-old Scott Kleeschulte from Saint Charles, MO, vanished. Reddit user TopGolfUFOdetails the original case in a post from 2021, describing an area called The Trails, which many thought was Scott's last spot before he disappeared, though no proof exists. A 2016 Reddit post raised questions, titled: "To those who have accidentally killed someone, what went wrong?" The user admitted in the post to an '80s incident where he and friends saw a young boy fall off a cliff after a rock fight started. They stated:

I can only recall him falling. I still remember the sound. When we went back to check, he was in a strange position with blood coming from his mouth. We all panicked and ran home.

The Response:Many assumed this post connected to Scott Kleeschulte's disappearance. However, the poster admits some details conflict with the story. For example, his body never appeared, even though the whole community searched for him then. The user also mentioned:

There was a neighborhood kid who, looking back, was probably mentally [handicapped] somehow, but to us, he was just the weird/creepy kid.

This made many think the two events were separate. If Scott had any disability, the media would have reported it. Still, this user admitting to seeing someone possibly fall to their death and not saying anything is strange and creepy.

The Post:According to the IndependentMelinda Vasilije, 22, died in Canada in April 2017. Her 24-year-old ex-boyfriend, Ager Hasan, was the prime suspect. Police thought Hasan fled to the United States after Vasilije's death. Later, a Reddit user named Redasblue101, allegedly Hasan, posted about their bad relationship and admitted he killed Vasilije. He claimed self-defense because Vasilije attacked him after he admitted to being with other women while they were broken up.

The Response: Spokeswoman Cherri Greeno told Global News:

This information is potential evidence. You must authenticate and verify it. We cannot comment further on evidence. We still urge Mr. Hasan to turn himself in to U.S. authorities.

According to CBCHasan was arrested in San Antonio, TX, in July that year. In May 2023, Hasan got a second-degree murder conviction. He received a life sentence with parole possibility in 2033.

The Post:In 2013, a meme called Confession Bear appeared. It showed a cute bear with a harmless confession. This time, a Reddit user, Naratto, seemed to admit to murder with their confession. The post got deleted, but the meme text read:

My sister had an abusive m*th addict boyfriend. I killed him with his own drugs while he was unconscious and they ruled it as an overdose.

The Response: This raised many questions in the comments, as expected. According to the DailyMail, the OP quickly replied with:

I posted this wondering what would happen. There is some truth behind it, but I do not state what was true or false.

This is a pretty cryptic response since it doesn't truly say yes or no to committing murder. According to DailyDot, commenters allegedly dug up his information, such as his name and DOB, and sent it to the authorities.
