About this list

Big-screen feats of agility have been thrilling audiences since filmmaking began. While modern movies boast impressive stunts and effects, they often rely on CGI and stunt doubles. In contrast, older films like those of Buster Keaton take a more grounded approach to stunts. The one advantage newer films have is the use of slow motion to showcase fast-moving moments that require great reflexes. Heroes in film must be athletic and flexible to handle constant hand-to-hand combat and quick maneuvering. Superheroes fly up building sides, while action heroes jump out of windows. Agility and flexibility are just as important as strength for these heroes. The characters featured here needed reflexes, flexibility, and agility to navigate their environments. Scroll down and vote for your favorite moments of agility!
