C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia is a high fantasy series with seven volumes. Three books made it to the big screen, but they still have some glaring plot holes. Fans have spotted a few, which are listed below. Vote for the most irritating ones!

Changing Caspian from a 12-year-old boy who would be king to a 27-year-old is the biggest problem. The actor was 27 when he played the role of a supposed 12-year-old.
I question why uncle Miraz held the throne because Caspian was old enough to rule. The plot, centered on Caspian being 12 and too young to rule, breaks down early. Miraz would have had no power; Caspian would have ruled by the time Miraz's son was born.

From Redditoru/Varekai79:
[Caspian] uses a Spanish Inigo Montoya accent in Prince Caspian but an RP English accent in Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The third movie's director told him to drop the accent; he disliked it.
From Redditoru/monetized_account:
I found it strange that Prince Caspian changed his accent so much between movies.

After showing the dufflepods and Coriakin again, Lucy, Edmund, Caspian, and Eustace enter a room. A giant magical map appears. Coriakin, the magician, explains they must defeat the evil on the Dark Island by placing the 7 Lords' swords on Aslan's Table. He points to Lord Bern's sword, which Edmund cleaned and carried, stating he has seen the swords before and that he sent the Lords to Ramandu's Island.
But Lord Bern never reached the Lone Islands and kept his sword in the dungeon. So Coriakin sent the other six lords on a suicide mission, knowing they could not destroy the Dark Island without Lord Bern's sword.

[Changing Caspian's age] requires major changes without adjustments. In the books, Caspian suggests fighting Miraz, and Peter says, "Dude, you are 12." In the movies, it fails if a 17-year-old Peter fights Miraz when Caspian is twenty-seven.

From aformer Redditor:
The heroes find two other swords on the way: the lord who died in the gold water and the one by the dragon's gold, both on the volcanic island. If the remaining lords knew they needed all 7 swords, why did they not seek the missing ones? Two swords were found and recovered easily; why did they keep going knowing they could not complete their mission?

I rewatched the movie recently. This is maybe not the worst thing from that movie, but it bothered me the most.
At some point in the movie, Miraz has his coronation, and to look great, they included some pledges for his troops.
Ettinsmoor and Tashbaan are mentioned. What about them? Ettinsmoor is a giant's territory, even though humans occupied parts of it. However, these humans were already Telmarines, and the area was already called Telmarine territory.
Tashbaan is from Calormen. Some wiki history exists, but nothing proves Tashbaan would pledge troops to Miraz.

When they exit the wardrobe, they jump to the same time they left, same age as when they entered.
In the sequelPrince Caspian, the end explains a group of Spaniards were thrown into a similar wormhole during a storm, landing in Narnia. Some opt to return home. Could Spaniard descendants just land in random times? Since their ancestors arrived centuries earlier, they could land anywhere and be out of place.

From Redditoru/chumjumper:
Mrs. Beaver states:
"It has long been foretold that two sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve will defeat the White Witch and restore peace to Narnia."
Why doesn't the White Witch just kill Edmund? If four humans are needed, killing one should stop the prophecy, right?
From Redditoru/Player_17:
Someone claims this is not a plot hole; it is just a character acting stupidly. I think a 'smart' person, like the evil ice queen, acting so foolishly is the issue.isa plot hole, so I agree with you.

We have the implication thatallthe trees in Narnia are sentient, which confuses things since Narnians use wood.

From Redditoru/ThatDismalGiraffe:
I wish Aslan's character learned and grew too; we see none of that. This shows a problem with Christian fiction: people look flawed, but a god-like character's motives and ethics escape criticism. Aslan made bad choices but did not learn or grow because Christians see Jesus as perfect. We should not teach kids that any character is 'perfect' and beyond fault.
From Redditoru/Mathemagics15:
Aslan is the character I engaged with least in the books. If we ignore the Jesus allegory and only look at his role in the stories he joins, heisn'treally a character (exceptarguablyin the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, where he shows less than full certainty about himself when sacrificed on the stone table). He is a force of nature. He is the author's moralizing voice. He is the not-very-clear hand of fate and/or God guiding the story's main characters. Literally, he is a plot device and often explains exactly how he starts events.
This weakens the story's tension and the characters' actions. The characters are not held by a rope, but if they go wrong, Aslan steps in to fix them.
