Joel Parkinson, born April 10, 1981, is an Australian surfer. He competes on the ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) World Tour. Parkinson competed at the elite level for twelve years. During that time, he won eleven ASP World Title Events and nine other ASP tour events. He finished second place to the ASP World Title four times. Parkinson won the ASP World Championship Tour Surfing Title on December 14, 2012, in Hawaii at the Banzai Pipeline. This was the final event for the 2012–the Billabong Pipeline Masters season.
