    In June 2018, a Wisconsin man devised an odd plan for upskirt photos of unsuspecting women.He planned to install a camera in his shoe.The mechanics of the "shoe camera" remain unclear. The man tested the device before using it in public. The camera's battery exploded, burning his foot.

    This accident became a blessing. The man felt guilt for his actions and confessed to a clergyman. The clergyman suggested the man turn himself in, and he escorted him to the police station.

    July 2017 saw this.Jerome Kennedy.Jerome Kennedy and his wife Ashley heard noises and saw a light shining through a pipe in their Pittsburgh, PA, home. The couple bought a surveillance camera and put it in their attic.

    They reviewed the footage. They saw their neighbor, Robert Havrilla, walking through their attic with a power drill. Havrilla built a secret removable wall to enter the home. He also drilled holes in the walls, allowing him to watch them in their bedroom.

    The couple called the police. They arrested Havrilla for stalking and trespassing. Havrilla claimed he was in the attic because it connected to his home and he was doing renovations, through his lawyers.

    In May 2013, a man from Kobe, Japan, escalated peeping to a new level.Yasuomi Hirai.Hirai regularly crawled through a drainage sewer intending to look up women's skirts.

    Hirai hid near a woman's university. At least once, a woman saw eyes below in the sewer and reported the event. By the time police arrived, Hirai had already fled.

    Police eventually suspected Hirai and asked him about his neighborhood activities. He admitted skipping work to use the sewers hoping to look up women's skirts. He also admitted doing this several times. Hirai was then arrested.

    A Couple Used A Drone To Peep On Neighbors

    In December 2016, an unnamed man from Orem, UT,noticed a drone right outside his bathroom window.The man entered his truck and chased the drone. He grabbed it once it landed in a church parking lot.

    The man checked the drone's photo card and found footage of people inside their homes. He also found videos of the couple who allegedly owned the drone.

    The man sent the footage to the local police department. Police used the footage toidentify a license plate on a vehicle.The plate belonged to the drone owners.

    On December 4, 2016, before making an arrest, the Orem Police Department posted ahumorous Facebook post.The post informed the drone owners they were being pursued and encouraged the voyeurs to turn themselves in.

    Terisha Lee Norviel faced arrest and voyeurism charges after a post. In January 2017, her boyfriend, Aaron Dennis Foote, was arrested for voyeurism related to the drone scheme.     In March 2007, Natalie Fornaciari called Best Buy to send a computer technician to her Los Angeles, CA, home for computer repairs.Geek Squad employee Hao Kuo Chi.Chi went to the house.

    Chi asked Fornaciari to use the restroom. He returned to work when Fornaciari's 22-year-old daughter, Sarah Vasquez, entered the bathroom to shower.

    After Vasquez got out of the shower, she saw a cell phone on the sink. The phone had a leather case and a blinking red light. Vasquez left the bathroom to find her younger sister, 13-year-old Kelly Rocha, to ask about the phone. When they went back, the phone was gone.

    Rocha found the phone in her bedroom that same day. Worried the phone was recording her, she took the memory chip out. Rocha and Vasquez took the phone to a Verizon store to check what was on it.

    Verizon employees helped the girls see video footage of Chi setting up the camera in the bathroom. The sisters called their stepfather, who then called the police. Chi was arrested because he was still working on the computer at Fornaciari's home.     On February 7, 2018, pastor Douglas Rivera.Douglas Rivera.Rivera drove to the Vanllee Hotel and Suites in Covina, CA. There, Rivera saw a room with open curtains and looked through the window. Two Chinese teen tourists occupied the room. After watching the girls, Rivera returned to his car in the parking lot and masturbated.

    Hotel surveillance cameras caught all this. Rivera's vehicle and tags appeared in the footage. Police identified Rivera as the perpetrator. After news coverage, he went to the police and turned himself in.

Cazee scared residents by watching their windows at night for over a year before police caught him. Residents contacted police, some several times, reporting his actions.

    Police arrested Cazee in April 2017.He carried binoculars and toilet paper while walking. Police found video footage in his possession after Cazee's arrest. The footage showed women and teen girls undressed; some videos even showed those women having sex. Cazee spoke suggestively and unzipped his pants in many videos.

    On February 27, 2018, a 14-year-old girl was at a Penn Station East Coast Subs in Grand Rapids, MI with her father. The teen went to the bathroom and saw a cell phone recording her from above the toilet. The girl told her father what she saw. He went into the restroom to check it out.

    The father was Quantez Phillips.Phillips went on Facebook Live with the footage.Phillips saw the hidden camera in the sub shop restroom. Phillips looked upset in the video. He later told reporters, "I can’t even describe the feeling I had. My blood was boiling, my adrenaline was flowing, and I wanted to see blood. My daughter has been violated, so I feel like it's my duty to protect my daughter, and being in a public restroom, I didn't think I would have to protect her."

    On June 10, 2017, a woman used the restroom at a Target in Knoxville, TN. The woman looked up and saw a man watching her from the next stall.The man had a cell phone in his hand.The woman asked the man what he was doing. He laughed and then left the bathroom. With help from her husband and store employees, they chased the suspect and called the police for an arrest.

    Police learned the suspect was James Josey, a man under house arrest as a registered sex offender. Josey was arrested multiple times for spying on women in public restrooms, including two times in 2011: once filming a woman showering at a YMCA and another time watching a woman use a restroom at a festival. In 2013, he was arrested for taking photos of a woman in a Pizza Inn restroom. In 2015, he was arrested after taking photos of a woman in a Kroger bathroom.

    In November 2017, this man stayed away from malls but kept spying on women.Trevor Thompson.Thompson was arrested at the Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa, OK. Thompson used his cell phone camera and a GoPro to take photos of women's skirts while they moved on the escalator in the mall; this was not Thompson's first peeping offense.

    A Man Terrorized A Woman By Whispering Through Her Kitchen Vent

    On December 8, 2017, a young woman in Germantown, MD, looked out her sliding glass door. She saw a man staring and smiling. Later, someone rang her doorbell. This scared her enough to call the police and report the incident.

    The man continued his terror. He stood on the patio, rang the doorbell, and looked through every window of her apartment. He whispered sexual things to the victim through her kitchen vent.

    Officers arrived. The man remained on the property, looking through the patio door. He rubbed his crotch with his unzipped pants. Police told him to freeze. They prepared to arrest him. He then fled on foot.

    One officer caught the perpetrator. A physical fight started. The peeping Tom tried to grab the officer's gun and taser. Police took him down and arrested him. Police found the suspect wasMonico Pena.

    Pena knew the police. He has a long rap sheet. It includes charges like hiding a weapon, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstruction, and trespassing.

    In 2016,Randy KelleyRandy Kelley of Okmulgee, OK, was arrested after he placed hidden cameras inside a tanning bed room in a fitness center.

    Video footage from Kelley showed women getting in and out of tanning beds while undressed.

    District Attorney Rob Barris said, "Mr. Kelley chose to put electronic devices in places people thought were secure and private." "The images obtained of females in those areas victimized them and invaded their privacy and security. Those choices had consequences which Mr. Kelley must now face."

    Kelley pleaded guilty to two counts of peeping Tom on May 26, 2017. The judge sentenced him to ten years in prison.
