Military pilots have their own language, full of esoteric code words. The pilot code words listed below are just a small sample of aviation jargon. At first, some code words sound like everyday English, but they're not. Brush up on your military slang - you never know when you'll need to use it. If you do, you don't want to look like a cone, or worse, a plumber.

    Bingo fuel is the minimum fuel needed for a safe flight and landing. Aircraft can go past it, but that is dangerous and unwise.
