Blast Doors Auto-Lock When You Shoot Their Control Panels Due To Pressurization In Space

    From Redditoru/Dr-Oberth:

Some see this as a design flaw letting heroes escape trouble. But from a safety angle, a closed door makes sense.

If your ship takes damage and power drops, you don't want bulkheads to open. A reactor leak or hull breach could spread the problem. Anakin disabling the Invisible Hand’s hangar shield on Coruscant shows this: emergency bulkheads slam shut, protecting crew.

This explains why characters exploit this flaw. Anyone familiar with space travel knows this is standard practice.

Blink And You'll Miss A Special Astromech Unit

    From Redditoru/SC762894:

InThe Force Awakens, a pink R2 unit, R2-KT, appears on the resistance base. The founder of the 501st fan organization built the droid to watch his daughter, Katie, who had terminal brain cancer. That droid visits children’s hospitals now.

    C-3PO Has Technically Met L3-37

Lando's old droid, L3-37, integrated with theFalcon'snavicomputer inSolo: A Star Wars Story.TheFalcon'sunique nature first appeared inThe Empire Strikes Backduring a talk with C-3PO. Additionally, Redditoru/kaptingarvin pointed out this point:

It helps explain how the Falcon runs quick hyperspace calculations without an astromech droid. A droid already handles navigation on the ship. This proves very useful when escaping Imperial Star Destroyers.

The Falcon's Targeting Computer Isn't Very Intuitive, But Makes Sense Once Explained

    From Redditoru/CmdrCloud:

The oval in the middle shows theFalcon.

Two grids exist. One is above theFalcon, for the top gunner (Han). One below is for the bottom gunner (Luke).

The grids let gunners see TIE approach direction, like Battleship. The computer shows a TIE from D-5, so the gunner aims there and shoots.

The grids started vertical because of the gravity shift to the turrets. At the gun, gunners sit with their backs to the Falcon.

The Clone Trooper Inhibitor Chips Are Scientifically Sound

    From a formerRedditor:

InTCW S7 E11, Rex's brain scan shows the clones' inhibitor chips are in the right frontal lobe. This spot works well for a device that stops individuality and causes violent outbursts.

The right hemisphere of the human brain handles creative thought, decisions, impulse, and motor control. This matches the inhibitor chips' job: suppressing clone free will, making them less impulsive, and forcing them to follow Order 66.

Within the right hemisphere, the right frontal lobecontrols problem solving, judgment, and personality. Placing the inhibitor chip here makes sense. It forces a clone to drop individuality, follow Order 66, and see all Jedi allies as enemies.

Damage to the right frontal lobe causes antisocial behavior, personality loss, and dementia. When Tup's inhibitor fails, he "snaps," kills General Tiplar, and attacks General Tiplee. Sidious' brainwashing causes these effects, but the chip malfunction likely caused brain damage linked to antisocial behavior.

Order 66 wipes most clones' personalities. Loyal Jedi friends turn on them fast; even Rex succumbs while fighting his indoctrination. The right frontal lobe is the brain region to adjust to make this happen.

Regarding Rex, Sidious triggering Order 66 causes Rex to lose control of his left hand muscles and drop his helmet without realizing. This aligns with medical facts if the inhibitor played a part, since theright frontal lobe controls muscles on the left side of the bodyHe also faced conflicting loyalties to both Sidious and Ahsoka at that time.

A study in the British Journal of PsychiatryBenson, Cummings, Darby, and Miller wrote this in 1997.patients with frontal-temporal damage showed a tendency toward assault, manslaughter, and other unlawful acts—exactly what the chips aim to stop.

In the story, inhibitor chips do things a real frontal-temporal tumor cannot, such as triggering brainwashing with a code phrase. This is a show about space wizards and funny robots. The artists and writers chose a logical spot for this important device.

Droids Are Programed To Feel Pain

A Redditor wrote this.u/JMeerkat137 wrote this.:

Droids inStar Warsdroids are programmed to feel pain, even slightly. B1 Battle Droids and Astromechs show this in the universe. I heard long ago that making droids feel pain prevents them from rising up. They can be punished like living beings; look at Jabba's treatment of his droids.

    Chopper Is A One-Droid Army

A Redditor wrote this.u/blockpro156 wrote this.:

In "The Machine In The Ghost," Chopper blew up a TIE-Fighter; that counts as one kill.

In the Season 1 premiere, he blew up three more TIE-Fighters; that makes four more.

In Episode 4, Chopper tried to take out Ezra but failed.

In Episode 5, he blew up the leg of an AT-DP, which likely caused only non-fatal injuries.

Episode 11: He took out an astromech and shoved its dead body into the sewer.

In Episode 13, he opened an airlock. Four stormtroopers suffocated in space. That makes eight.
In that same episode, he pushed an innocent astromech out of the cargo hold without provocation. It likely wandered the Lothal plains until it ran out of power.

Season 2 Episode 8: He switched gravity off and on, making three Imperials fall dead. He tried to kill Ezra but failed again. Also, he sabotaged theIndictor, which exploded and sank two Imperial Cruisers. The IndictorThe Indictor looked about the size of an Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer. Wiki says those have over 37,000 crew members and 9,700 stormtroopers, totaling just under 47,000 people.
Add the crew from the two Imperial Light Cruisers, and I estimate that equals at least 50,000 kills.

That brings the total to 50,008.

Season 2 Episode 9 suggests they blew up a force-sensitive baby, but Zeb stopped him.

Season 2 Episode 16: Chopper took out another astromech, but this time he did not desecrate its corpse.

In Season 2 Episode 18, Chopper detached a cargo hold holding at least seven Stormtroopers. These troopers became stranded in space. If they weren't rescued, Chopper gets 50,015 kills.

Season 3 premiere: Chopper shot down a Mining Guild Tie-Fighter, bringing his body count to 50,016. He also destroyed another droid.

Season 3 Episode 4: He blew up Hera's home. I guess he took out at least two dozen Stormtroopers and maybe some Twi'leks in the kitchen.

Total kills: 19 confirmed and direct hits, 49,997 estimated indirect kills via sabotage, and 20 estimated kills from explosives.
He also ended three other astromechs and one other droid. Chopper tried to kill Erza twice and suggested infanticide once.

Hyperspace Tracking Was In Development Before 'A New Hope'

    From Redditoru/majesticdirewolf:

InRogue OneWhen Jyn Erso searches the Scarif database for Death Star plans, she finds a file named "Hyperspace tracking." InThe Last Jedi, nearly 40 years later, the First Order uses this technology to track Rebels after they jump to hyperspace from a lost battle.

C-3PO Knows 6 Million Forms Of Communication But Frequently Gets Stumped

    From Redditoru/TyrionBananaster:

This is a small thing I noticed rewatching the OT last week. I don't know if it was an intentional joke or not.

Episode 4: When the Jawas capture 3PO, he cannot communicate with them outside of basic gestures.

Episode 5 shows 3PO only knows the imperial probe droid's language isn't used by the alliance. Later, he notes the Falcon uses a strange dialect he doesn't fully grasp. (Solo has something related, but that wasn't the goal when ESB first launched).

Episode 6 introduces the Ewoks. C-3PO struggles to talk to them because of their primitive dialect.

3PO speaks six million communication methods. Yet, he always encounters a language he doesn't understand in every film.

In Canon, Bacta Isn't Exclusively From One Planet Anymore

    From Redditoru/TheMastersSkywalker:

Dooku: Jedi LostDooku recanonizes and adds lore. My favorite change is that bacta is no longer made only on Tyferra.

One thing that sounds weird is one planet supplies an entire galaxy's worth of a substance—bacta, kolto, durasteel, anything. We don't know how planet-wide production of one crop looks, but one planet supplying all of it remains strange.

Well inDooku: Jedi LostWe meet a new agri-world that exports bacta. I like the Bacta WarHaving bacta made on multiple worlds makes more sense logistically than one location.
