The United States saw over 5,250,000 reported car collisions in 2020, with more than 35,000 fatalities. Negligence, intoxication, or poor road conditions - the cause doesn't change the fact that motor vehicle accidents are a leading cause of death. With 4.19 million miles of road to cover, you're bound to encounter terrible drivers who ignore the statistics. Bad drivers are everywhere, whether you're stuck in downtown Los Angeles on I-10, navigating mountain passes in the Pacific Northwest, or driving historic routes across the country. Reckless or clueless, a bad driver is a bad driver. Every state has them, but which ones have the worst?
