Best Trees in Fiction

Trees are impressive, with their tall stature and regal presence. Some even have tiny trunks that defy gravity. In fiction, trees often play a role beyond just scenery - they're actual characters, walking and talking. The Guardians of the Galaxy movie features Groot, a fan favorite, also known from the comics. Other notable tree characters include the Giving Tree from Shel Silverstein's book and Treebeard from The Lord of the Rings universe. Trees also appear in A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, and even a Frank Zappa song. Now, it's your turn to vote for the best tree characters and create your own list. If you know of another tree character in fiction or a video game, add it to the list for fellow tree enthusiasts to discover and vote on.
