About this list

In comic books, a malicious doppelganger is surprisingly common. Superheroes face evil twins, clones, alternate dimension versions, and even robotic duplicates. Most superheroes have battled their own superpowered counterpart at some point. Usually, the original emerges victorious, but not always. The clones of Marvel and DC Comics sometimes come out on top.
