About this list

Marvel fans have likely explored alternate universes or 'possible futures' - from classic What If? stories to time-bending Summers' family tales. Donny Cates' 2017 Thanos Wins comic series stands out. Thanos hasn't starred in many solo series, and for good reason: his cosmic tyranny can get old. Cates sidestepped this by setting his story millions of years in the future. This allowed him to tell the tale of a Thanos victory - with grim results for everyone, except Marvel readers.

Thor Is The Final Avenger To Fall

Details on how Thanos beats Earth's heroes are scarce, save for a few gruesome shots. An entire page covers the death of the last Avenger, Thor Odinson. Ghost Rider's Penance Stare Is "Refreshing" To Thanos
