    Wong

    Wong gets stuff done.

Without his behind-the-scenes organization of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, the final clash ofAvengers: EndgameDoctor Strange's orders after The Snap ended wouldn't have happened. He dispatched wizard teams to get Wakanda's forces, New Asgard, The Ravagers, Howard the Duck, Pepper Potts, and The Wasp in a tiny time frame. That is astounding.

We know little about the next Doctor Strange movie.Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of MadnessWith Wanda's powers likely involved, we will see how Wong fits into the story. However, what we know is he gets little credit.

    Happy Hogan

Happy Hogan is the friend everyone deserves. Happy's journey started back inIron ManHe first appeared as Tony Stark's personal driver, bodyguard, and best friend until he died.

Considering Stark's impact on the MCU, Happy was always there off-screen, guiding the most ambitious Avenger. After his friend died, Stark passed Happy's guidance to Peter Parker. Viewers see what Happy did for Stark early on through Peter's eyes, but now he has valuable experience.

    Maria Hill

Maria Hill's willingness to serve the greater good and her loyalty to Nick Fury are not discussed enough. A master spy and tactician, Hill served as a S.H.I.E.L.D. liaison and asset for the Avengers sinceThe AvengersHill proved herself one of their strongest and most resourceful allies.

Hill acted as a one-person support system for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. She handled Fury's sensitive missions and served as his right hand, plus she skilled as a field agent and managed the logistics of stopping secret HYDRA cells after S.H.I.E.L.D. fell.

    Peggy Carter

Initially, she was seen as the English girl on the army base inCaptain America: The First AvengerMargaret "Peggy" Carter's huge career built the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.) and eventually the Avengers.

After her first film role, she worked for the Strategic Scientific Reserve (S.S.R.) in New York. She worked with the agency when male superiors tried to force her into a secretarial job after World War II, as seen inAgent Carter. Howard Stark and Chester Phillips co-founded S.H.I.E.L.D. in 1965. S.H.I.E.L.D. absorbed the S.S.R. after the last HYDRA groups were destroyed.

    Korg

Korg is a political idealist with a surprisingly strong moral compass. After leading a failed political revolution, he enters gladiatorial fights and meets a struggling Thor.

Korg becomes one of Thor's allies while dealing with the Hela situation inThor: RagnarokKorg follows Thor to Earth after The Snap, settling in New Asgard. Korg likely stopped Thor from killing himself due to depression and substance use after The Snap. Heroes often stand alone with few peers; having someone like Korg to support them when they fail is very important.

    Drax The Destroyer

Drax the Destroyer appears in the firstGuardians of the GalaxyIn the Guardians of the Galaxy film, we see Drax's conflict with Thanos (slaying his wife and daughter leaves a mark). Drax has little tact, like a raccoon in a dumpster, but he gains much from the Guardians over the three films as he starts speaking. InGuardians Vol. 1 Drax's character centers on revenge; he wants nothing else and does not care who gets in his way. Then, inGuardians Vol. 2Guardians Vol. 2, Drax opens up because of his interactions with Mantis and a better team dynamic with the other Guardians.

WhenAvengers: Infinity WarDuring Avengers: Infinity War, the man seeking revenge for his wife and child still appears. However, after the Guardians confront him on Knowhere and he is beaten, he quietly becomes rational. This shows when he stays calm while the hero team tries to take the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos on Titan but fails because of Peter Quill's hot temper.

Drax is often written as comic relief—the barbarian in the china shop—but he learns to process his past and manage his feelings well across those three films.

    Edwin Jarvis

Edwin Jarvis served as Howard Stark's right-hand man. He remains one of the least talked about but most important supporting characters in the MCU. After World War II, the United States government accused Stark of treason. Stark tasked Jarvis with finding Peggy Carter to clear his name.

The actions taken helped bond Stark and Carter, leading them to co-found S.H.I.E.L.D. Jarvis also likely shaped Tony Stark's upbringing, helping him become who he is now. Jarvis inspired the JARVIS program, which, with the Mind Stone, became The Vision.

    Mantis

Mantis's powers are the most passive of any MCU hero introduced. This means most of her screen time develops other characters. Empathy is rare in films and society. A character showing compassion breaks the usual gritty, cynical dialogue in the MCU.

She stunned Thanos for a long time inAvengers: Infinity Warwhile heroes on Titan sought the Infinity Gauntlet until Peter Quill messed things up.

    Darcy Lewis

The MCU latest installments miss the patron saint of snark. Her return with Jane Foster has potential.Thor: Love and ThunderDarcy Lewis gave something to the first twoThorDarcy Lewis's interactions with Thor show human reactions to danger. This lets the audience see Thor as human, not just a golden god, because Darcy does the opposite.

With the announcement ofWandaVision Darcy Lewis will appear as a series regular. Since the series is set in the 1960s, people wonder if she will be a nosy neighbor like Gladys Kravitz fromBewitched.

    Talos

Speculation surrounds Talos's role in the MCU. During the end credits ofSpider-Man: Far From Home, Talos and his wife acted as body doubles for Nick Fury and Maria Hill. This revelation changes things when we look closely at earlier films, especially if the Secret Wars film comes in Phase 5 or 6. Talos has been on Earth since the early '90s. He could have been anyone, changing history simply by being someone else.

With S.W.O.R.D. potentially appearing in Marvel Cosmic titles like Fantastic Four and X-Men stories, Talos will become more important.

    Rhomann Dey

Rhomann Dey is a good cop often forgotten fromGuardians of the GalaxyRhomann Dey helped cement the Guardians' validity. Dey appears as the Nova Corps officer who captures the then-not-yet-Guardians and moves them to The Kyln. Starlord sent events leading to the Battle of Xandar through Dey to Nova Prime. Nova Prime prepared for the Kree assault and attempted a siege while trying to get the Power Stone.

Xandar would have fallen. The Power Stone would have landed in Thanos's hands seven movies sooner. Dey's trustworthiness covered his Nova Corps colleagues and the people he sent to high-security prisons.
