About this list

The last decade has seen a devastating rise in vehicular mass murder incidents. An individual drives a car into a crowded area, intent on killing as many people as possible. With radicalized political movements emerging worldwide, the worst vehicle-ramming incidents often relate to terrorism. Cities like New York, Tel Aviv, and Beijing have fallen victim to these attacks. These incidents are more than just vehicular manslaughter - they're concentrated efforts to kill, meant to further extremist political or religious agendas through fear and brute force guerrilla tactics. Dozens have been killed and hundreds injured in these attacks. To combat this, cities like New York have installed bollards and barricades - roughly 1,500 in New York alone. The question remains: will these measures end this deadly trend? For now, we pay our respects to the victims of these tragedies.
