Summon A Demon: Guide

When asking for the assistance of a demon, it's proper form to present an offering in return. While the offering itself can vary based on the demon or the request, it usually involves "publicity for the demon, working against the enemy, or working to advance Satanism," according to Joy of Satan Ministries. No matter the offer, it should be agreed upon by both you and the demon.

It is ill-advised to present an offer you know you cannot follow through with. "The Elder Gods value one’s word, honesty, integrity and one’s honor as the utmost importance," writes Joy of Satan Ministries.

After determining the demon you'd like to contact, you need to choose an appropriate contact method. Depending on your experience summoning demons, and your familiarity with the actual demon you're summoning, you may be able to physically see and hear the demon or notice tangible evidence that the demon is present.

For those who are less familiar with summoning, you simply invoke the energy of the demon, at which point you are "engulfed in a powerful, electrifying aura," according to Joy of Satan Ministries, or just speak to the demon telepathically. One of the most common methods of summoning a demon is to use a "scrying mirror," which allows you to communicate with demons.

Before preparing a ritual to summon a demon, it's strongly suggested that you exercise your mind with power meditation first. According to Joy of Satan Ministries, power meditationwill "open your psyche. You may experience 'gut feelings' through enhanced intuition, in other cases, your mind will be open and more receptive to astral entities."

Joy of Satan Ministries warns that being more receptive to spirits is not always a good thing.

Now that you've done your homework on the demon you'd like to summon, it's time to prepare the summoning ritual. While it isn't required that you perform the ritual at night, it's strongly suggested for new summoners as it greatly increases your chances of making contact.

Besides lighting incense for the demon you call, using the right candles increases contact chances. You need at least one candle; for best results, its color mustmatch the demon you seek to summon..

Summon Balam for a funny date? Use yellow, orange, gold, or white candles because they match the sun, the ruler of charisma magic. If those colors are unavailable,black is the next best option,followed by dark blue and red.

Next, Joy of Satan Ministries says you should print or neatly draw thedemon's sigil.Draw the sigil of the demon you summon on paper. Study the vigil and memorize its shape.

"Close your eyes and picture the sigil in your mind as well as you can," Joy of Satan Ministries writes. "You can open them and look at the sigil again [as often as needed] for a clearer picture. While visualizing, chant or repeat the demon's name, either in your mind or out loud."

After focusing on the sigil and repeating the demon's name several times, read this prayer:

Lord Satan, by your grace, grant me the power to conceive in my mind and do what I want, the end I seek with your help, O Mighty Satan, the one True God who lives and rules forever and ever. I ask you to inspire [name of Demon] to appear before me so he/she can give me a true and faithful answer, so I can reach my goal, provided it fits his/her role. I humbly ask this in Your Name, Lord Satan, may you find me worthy, Father.

At this stage, you should begin to feel Satan's energy as he calls the demon you asked for. It is fine if you do not make contact the first time. Joy of Satan Ministries says::

Most people must perform the summoning ritual more than once for the demon to show up. Often, the demon answers, but many people do not notice. Seek out good signs and odd things. Awareness matters here.

If you contact a demon, be honest and respectful. Never command, demand, or try to exploit them.Joy of Satan Ministries recommends this.Be polite. Present your request and offering briefly.
