Weird drinking laws are a global phenomenon. International alcohol laws can be pretty out there, and America has its own set of strange regulations. From governing how much wine a married woman can drink to penalties for DUI and importing wine between provinces, these laws cover a wide range. Many are outdated and rarely enforced, but it's still a good idea to check the drinking laws before traveling abroad or even to another state. In the US, for example, a happy hour out of state might not be legal. In Nebraska, getting romantic with your bartender is off-limits. And in Pennsylvania, buying alcohol can be insanely complex - you might need to brush up on the civil code first. These weird drinking laws range from silly to well-intentioned to relics of the past.
