Scream Queens had potential, but its failures spark rage in fans. Season 1 was a mixed bag, and Season 2 magnifies its problems. One major issue is the show's inability to choose a tone. It excels as a comedy, horror show, and music video, but can't stick to what it does best. This inconsistency will likely be its downfall. Scream Queens is a caustic horror comedy with style, courtesy of its writer/director/producer. However, the show squanders its promise with too many mammy jokes and TLC references. As fans of the horror genre, we want Scream Queens to improve. We hope the creators will take these criticisms to heart and fix the show's obnoxious flaws.
