With this idea, I will write in this article a 30-day creativity challenge for kids so you can apply it to arouse your kids’ potential abilities and let them experience himself/herself through these challenges in 30 consecutive days. Day 1. Clean And Re-organize The Learning Space
Learning space is a place to nurture children’s insights and creativity. Therefore this place must always ensure the neat and tidy to help children focus better and have more motivation to study when looking at it. So, on the first day of the 30-day creativity challenge for kids, I would like to have parents teaching their kids how to clean and rearrange the study corner in the most orderly way, ready to welcome all new ideas from children!
Day 2. Experience New Toys
The task of the next day of our 30 days to transform your play challenge is to let your kids experience new types of toys that they have never played before. It will help your child be exposed to an abundant range of games and let them come up with new ideas in trying out new types of toys. I highly recommend that children should try toys that stimulate creativity like puzzles, lego, Minecraft, etc.
Day 3. Draw A Random Thing
Fine art is considered as a subject to stimulate creativity, for children to express outside their thoughts, concretize what they see, and express their senses about the world around them. Therefore, the regular drawing will help children improve awareness, visual development, and increase their motor skills, thinking about shapes, colors, associations of things, people, landscapes. Children will perform the task of drawing a random thing that they observe on the third day.
Day 4. Learn To Make A Paper Crane

Day 5. Read A Short Story With Vivid Verbs
Vivid verbs are specific, distinct, and explicit verbs, which makes the reader more impressive and more accessible to visualize. Reading stories with lots of vivid verbs will help children develop their creativity in gaining more new rich vocabularies, and how to use them in specific cases. The 30-day creativity for kids challenge on the fifth day will let your kids read short stories with a variety of vivid verbs to enhance their language and reading comprehension skills.
Day 6. Get More And Better Sleep
Having a stable and adequate sleep will be essential for the development of the brain while helping the body in the correct biological cycle. Exercise brings a lot of benefits to the human body and mind. It enhances positive energy, promotes metabolic processes, and helps young minds ready to come up with innovative ideas. Parents, along with your children, will do beneficial exercises or jogging, and any sports activities on day 9.
Day 10. Declare The Empowering Mantras
Declaring empowering mantras is excellent for children to suggest themselves positive things they believe they can do. These mantras will help free kids’ minds of negative thoughts and encourage them to have confidence in their creativity and energy. Let your kids say some mantras like “I am very creative”, “I can come up with great ideas”…
Day 11. Listen To Instrumental Music
Listening to instrumental music helps children fall asleep well, get rid of harmful thoughts and fears, increase memory, foster creativity, and intelligence. It is also helpful for blood pressure and cardiovascular. So on day 11 of the 30-day creative challenge for kids, let your children listen to some soothing instrumental music.

Parents play a very significant role in the development and children’s social skills learning. So in today’s challenge, parents will go shopping with their kids. Day 19. Talk About Ideas And Solutions
Learning how to speak up your thoughts and opinions is beneficial to creativity and foster the brain to come up with more great ideas. Listen to your children’s ideas and solutions to solve problems in daily life. In that way, the child could learn to express his opinions and be more confident with it.
Day 20. Try To Solve A Math Problem
Math is a fear of many people, but it is a great brain training tool, which helps to increase logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Try to solve a random math problem entirely on the 20th day of the 30-day creativity challenge. Be sure the answers are right!
Day 21. Have Good Times With Parents
Parents are the best friends of children. You will spend time playing with your beloved on the 21st day. This day is for children to share more with parents, play games, and create positive emotions. I hope you and your children have a good time!
Day 22. Write Down The Good Things
On day 22 of 30 days to transform your play challenge, children will write down the good things happening in their everyday life. This work will help children to appreciate the small things, as well as promote positive and bright thinking.
Day 23. Help Parents With Household Chores
Let your kids help you with some household chores on this day. They could sweep the floor, wash the dishes, clean the windows, or rearrange the objects in the house. These works are necessary life skills that children need to know how to do it well sooner than later.
Day 24. Invite A Friend To Home And Play
Playing with friends will double the fun! It also helps to develop teamwork and social skills. Today’s challenge for your kids is to invite one friend to the house and play games with him/her.
Day 25. Have A Relaxing Bath
The challenge on day 25 of the 30-day creativity challenge is very comfortable and chill, take a relaxing bath! Resting in the bathtub with some soft music is the best way to refresh children’s brains and get rid of negative thoughts in their heads.
Day 26. Play Deductive Games With Parents
Playing deductive games will encourage children to ask questions and solve problems, stimulate their creativity and association among things. With today’s task, children will observe everything going on around them with their parents, and ask questions about it, such as “Where is this woman going?”, “What does this person do?” then try to figure out the answers.
Day 27. Do Nothing
We have done a lot of things, so today’s challenge kids will do nothing. Yes, nothing. Just sit in their spots and breath, no studying, no playing games, nor talking with others. Only have an entire day to relax effectively.
Day 28. Practice Brainstorming Techniques
On the 28th day of the 30-day creativity challenge for kids, get your child brainstormed on any topic. It could be an exercise, or what they are going to draw, or what decisions to make in some situations. And then record ideas that they come up with in the notebooks.
Day 29. Do Something Uncomfortable
Feeling uncomfortable is the key point indicating that someone is improving their performance. By doing the things your kids don’t like, they begin to step out of their box and be ready for new different things!
Day 30. Create A Daily Schedule
So we have come to the last day of the 30 days to transform your play challenge. To finish the challenge, children will make a regular schedule by themselves. That schedule will be used in the very next days of kids’ daily life. Be sure that it is clear and helpful to follow effectively.
