About this list

A remorseless serial killer is a terrifying figure, feeling no guilt for their actions. Some murderers seek redemption, but others are cold-hearted monsters lacking empathy. These killers never apologize and would likely continue their horrific ways if not apprehended. They show no remorse, entirely devoid of empathy. This list explores the most sinister serial killers, who not only didn't apologize to their victims' families but also reveled in their crimes, seemingly gratified by their amoral stance on unthinkable acts.

    Dennis Rader

Dennis Rader.better known as"BTK".Rader used the modus operandi: "bind, torture, kill". The court sentenced Rader to 10 consecutive life terms in 2005 for a string of murders starting in 1974 in Wichita, KS.

Describing the strangulation of 24-year-old Shirley Vian, he explained he first tied her children in another room to keep them quiet. When that failed, he forced them to witness their mother's execution.:

We moved them to the bathroom. She helped me. Then I locked the door. We put toys, blankets, and random things in there so the kids felt comfortable. I shut one bathroom door so they couldn't open it. Then I shoved, she went back and helped me push the bed against the other bathroom door. Then I tied her up. She got sick and threw up. I gave her water, comforted her a bit, then I tied her up, put a bag over her head, and strangled her.
