Albert Fish was known as the “Brooklyn Vampire” and the “Werewolf of Wysteria.”Albert Fish.Albert Fish murdered at least three children between 1924 and 1928. Police did not capture him until 1934. David Parker Ray, often called theToy Box Killer.Ray took women to his soundproof trailer, which he named the “toy box.” There, he tortured, raped, and sometimes killed them. Law enforcement thought Ray killed up to 60 women, even though he was never tried for murder.
Ray was caught after one victim, Cynthia Vigil, escaped from the trailer in 1999. A full search of the place showed Ray used many torture devices on women, holding them hostage for months. Ray then drugged the women and left them by the roadside.
Ray later said about his crimes, “I don’t like killing the girls we bring here, but sometimes things happen. What can I say? I would really hate to dump that pretty little body in a canyon somewhere to rot. I’m not trying to scare you.”That’s just how it is.

Between 1976 and 1977, David Berkowitz shot eight people in New York City. At one murder scene, he left a letter for the police. In it, he called himself the "Son of Sam..” Berkowitz claimed he joined a Satanic cult in 1975. He said he carried out the crimes under Satan's orders.
Authorities captured David Berkowitz on August 10, 1977. He confessed to the shootings the next day. Psychiatrists thought Berkowitz suffered from paranoid schizophrenia. The court sentenced him to life in prison. Berkowitz reportedly became an Evangelical Christian there.
In his memoir,My Testimony., Berkowitz wrote, “Eventually I crossed that line. After years of mental torment, behavioral issues, deep inner struggles, and my own rebellious ways, I became the criminal that, at that time, seemed like my destiny.”

Between 1984 and 1985, Richard Ramirez attacked many people and killed at least 15 individuals in San Francisco and the greater Los Angeles area. Ramirez was known as the "Night Stalker.” before his identity was found. Residents recognized Ramirez from police sketches in a Los Angeles neighborhood and chased him down.
Richard Ramirez got the death penalty in 1989. He died in prison in 2013. During his trial, Ramirez showed bizarre behavior. For instance, at his first court appearance, he flashed a pentagram he drew on his hand and shouted, “Hail Satan.”

Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer assaulted, tortured, murdered, and sometimes ate 17 boys and young men.Police finally arrested him.A victim escaped his apartment on July 22, 1991, which triggered the discovery.

Authorities arrested John Wayne Gacy for murder on December 21, 1978. They found 33 bodies in the crawlspace of his Chicago-area home. Investigators later found Gacy murdered dozens of young men and boys between 1972 and 1978 after luring them to his house.
